Pretty in pastels

This living room is so pretty and soft. Basically a very neutral base of cream and pale grey for the shell of the room and furnishings, all the color comes in the form of the accessories. This would be so easy to update when pastels and chevrons are no longer en vogue. How chic and smart!

Of course, I also love the timeworn hardwood floors, high ceilings, thick walls and plaster crown moulding that all come with an elegant old house that truly rocks.
