So many lovely details in one small area! The curve of the balcony, the deep cased opening with picture moulding, the heavy crown, delicate spindles, wonderful finial on the newel post, bleached handrail and treads, subtle striped carpet runner, matte hardwood floors with lovely band around the perimeter, delicate framed architectural drawings and pair of mirrored sconces, and last but not least the outer stringer of the staircase and detail underneath is AMAZING! What did I miss? Probably lots...
